Welcome
"Craft" Beer Guide is an independent website and created by me, Maurice. This online beerguide goes not about the brewing process, the history etc bescause you can find this everywhere, but it
wants to take you into the world of beer by showing the beers that are or have been in the world on the basis of its beer labels that I have in my collection and/or show them by a nice simple
description of the beer.
This website went online in November 2000 as the Bierlabel Encyclopedia, but at some point the website contained more than just beer labels and over the years an extra focus was added to the website.
I am also a man who not only liked collecting beer labels, but also likes to try new beers
and share my experiences with other beer conscious people. The purpose of this is to help people step out of their comfort zone and learn how to try new beers based on my experiences. I will do my
best to give uncomplicated, honest, simple (max 3 recognizable taste/smell experiences) even if I experience more. This is one of the reasons why the website's name change into the Beer Guide.
So enjoy and embark on an exciting and educational journey through the beer world. Of course, this does not mean that all beers that have ever been are on the beer guide, but because the beer world never stands still, the number of beers and the associated information on this website will grow. You can use this website as a kind of reference book when looking for unknown beer.
